Alberto Rodríguez González starts the role as Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal
BORG Automotive Newman (formerly SBS Automotive) is pleased to welcome Alberto Rodríguez González into the role as Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal. With a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for business development, Alberto is set to bring fresh energy and expertise to the team as the company strengthens its presence in the Spanish and Portuguese market.
“I am a young professional with over nine years of experience in the automotive sector, a field I am deeply passionate about. I have built a solid career in both international trade and business development, with expertise in market expansion across regions such as the United States, Latin America, Australia, and primarily Europe,” Alberto shared. “My professional journey began at Ajusa, a globally recognized manufacturer of sealing gaskets, where I developed and grew both personally and professionally. I worked across various departments, eventually taking responsibility for the commercial department dedicated to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and turbo specialists.”
Having a dedicated Sales Manager based in Spain and Portugal reflects BORG Automotive Newman’s strategy of getting closer to the market and its customers. By having “feet on the ground,” the company want to be able to understand of local needs better, foster stronger partnerships, and expand its footprint in the Iberian market. This localized approach is seen as a crucial step towards growth and strengthening relationships with customers and partners.
